- Elected as the President of Akhila Kerala Balajana Sakhyam at an age of 14.
- Elected consecutively from Chengannur Assembly Constituency ( 1991, 1996, 2001).
- Elected to Public Undertaking Committee Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2001.
- Developmental activities amounting to RS 250 Crore : This will comprise of the first Self Financing Engineering College, Construction of 27 Major Bridges, Construction of 78 KMs of new PWD Roads, Buildings to all Govt Schools, Stadiums, Industrial Units by Women, Central Hatchery, Women ITI, Technical Higher Secondary School and Computer Training Centres.
